Rugby League World Cup 2022 Tickets – This year, the largest and most popular men’s Rugby League World Cup (RLWC) will be held in Europe, with the finale set to be played at Manchester. The 16 qualifying teams will begin playing the Rugby League World Cup at St. James’ Park, Newcastle on 15th October 2022.
During the rescheduling of 61 matches played at 21 popular venues across 18 host towns and cities, only 5 RLWC fixtures (4 match-days) have been affected. These changes include switching two fixtures between Hull and Leeds venues and the relocation of fixtures from Anfield Stadium and the M&S Bank Arena.
In the 2022 men’s RLWC tournament, there will be one venue swap for the match to be played between Fiji and Australia on 15th October, 2022, the opening match of the 2022 Rugby League World Cup tournament. This match will instead take place at the Headingley Stadium, Leeds. The reason is that there was a clash with another event in Hull. As a result the MKM Stadium in Hull will not host the New Zealand vs. Jamaica match in Group C on 22nd October 2022. This fixture was earlier scheduled to be played in Leeds.
The Wigan’s DW Stadium will host the double-header, featuring the second men’s quarter-final match and also the England vs. Canada women’s match on 5th November, 2022. Manchester is set to create a record in sporting history by hosting all three tournament finals over a single weekend.
The entire 16 men’s Rugby League World Cup teams have fully committed to the new and revised schedule for the upcoming 2022 RLWC tournament.
